DARK was founded in 2000 by Marnick Smessaert in Belgium.
Born of a passion for lighting design and moulded by intuition for its creativity, DARK has stamped its indelible mark in the world of designer architectural lighting.
To quote Marnick: “We only make products we like. And it’s nice to know that so many other people like them too”. It’s no wonder then that DARK has bagged 65 international design awards to-date including the coveted Red Dot Design Award and iF Design Award.
